You do not need an account to use Mipkin. An optional account can recover a linked visiting code and, only if you separately turn it on, hold an account backup of Mipkin progress, Nook choices, inventory and settings. It never contains journal pages, reflection text, worry-box entries, friend aliases, visiting secret keys or purchases.
Delete it in the app
Open Mipkin, go to Settings, reconnect the optional account, and choose Delete account. We require that fresh sign-in so nobody else can delete an account on your behalf.
That deletes the opaque account record and hashed provider identifier held by our service, withdraws any linked hearth code, and removes account backup plus private-friend invitations, connections, any current shared rhythm, blocks and queued gestures. If you used Firebase passwordless email sign-in, it also removes that Firebase Authentication identity. It does not delete the separate local data on your phone. To remove that too, use the app's Delete all data control.
If you cannot open the app
Email support@mipkin.app with the subject “Mipkin account deletion request.” Do not include journal text, a Mipkin name, a hearth code, a secret key, or a passwordless sign-in link. We will tell you how to complete a fresh ownership check before we act on the request.
What this does not delete
Store purchases are managed by Apple or Google and remain subject to that store's records and policies. You can restore eligible purchases on a device from Settings, but we do not keep your card details or a copy of your receipt.
